A fatal crash investigation closed lanes on the northbound 405 Freeway Friday in the Torrance area and led to an hours-long backup that exended for miles during the moring drive.
One person was killed in the crash, which involved an overturned minivan and car. Details regarding the crash were not immediately available.
Four lanes were closed early Friday near Artesia Boulevard. Lanes reopened at about 8 a.m. The traffic backup extended into Long Beach earlier Friday.
