Two Hospitalized in West Hollywood Audi R8 Crash

The driver of an Audi R8 and a passenger were hospitalized Monday morning after the car crashed into a tree and fence at a West Hollywood park, authorities said.

The crash happened around 3:40 a.m. at 8360 Sunset Boulevard. The car spun at least once before crashing into the tree and slamming through the fence.

Two occupants in the vehicle were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Deparment.

Traffic slowed early Monday on Sunset Boulevard as a two truck removed the vehicle from the fence line. Lanes were reopened at the start of the morning drive.
