Surveillance cameras captured video of a woman stealing plants from an Atwater Village bakery Wednesday night.
The owner of Village Bakery and Cafe on Los Feliz Boulevard said it was the second time that this woman had stolen plants from her business. According to the owner, this woman had stolen a few plants from the bakery two years ago.
In the surveillance video, the woman is seen wheeling out a shopping cart and digging up the plants that were in the front of the bakery. She then puts the plants in the shopping cart and walks away.
The owner said that she spent about $1,000 on landscaping and had new plants put in just two weeks ago.
The owner has reported both thefts to police.
