CHP Cancels Amber Alert, Girl Found in Mexico

The California Highway Patrol has canceled a statewide Amber Alert for a missing teenager from Washington State.

The California Highway Patrol says a missing teenager from Washington has been safely located in Mexico.

The CHP did not give details on how they located 14-year-old Elizabeth Romero, but canceled a statewide Amber Alert that had been active since last Thursday.

Washington police said the teen was abducted in the town of Kennewick, Washington a day earlier.

The CHP issued the alert because they thought she and her abductor may be headed to Mexico.

Her boyfriend, Edwardo Fabian Flores Rosales, is still on the loose, according to police.

Rosales was last seen driving a 2001-2003 green Ford Escape with a roof rack, custom wheels, and temporary Washington plates.

A surveillance photo of the actual vehicle is below.

Anyone who has information on Rosales is asked to call 911.

The photo on the right below is surveillance video of the actual vehicle Flores was last seen driving.
