Family of Comatose Man Seeks $195 Million from Law Enforcement

A legal claim seeks damages for a comatose man, asserting his injuries stem from an unprovoked attack by an off-duty LAPD officer after a brawl broke out in a Rancho Cucamonga bar.  Investigating law enforcement agencies blame the man’s severe injuries instead on a subsequent auto accident, and the driver–the man’s brother–now faces criminal charges.
