The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to increase its reward from $10,000 to $25,000. Other contributions include more than $100,000 from the Dodgers, $50,000 from the LA City Council and $50,000 from radio personality Tom Leykis.

Stow was attacked on opening day in a Dodger Stadium parking lot. He was hospitalized and placed in a medically enduced coma.

Police identified Giovanni Ramirez as the prime suspect, but Ramirez has not been charged in connection with the attack. His attorneys claim he was not at the stadium on the day of the attack.

Last month, Ramirez was transferred to a state prison near San Diego to serve out a sentence for a parole violation. He will serve a 10-month sentence for a weapons charge unrelated to the Stow case, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Ramirez's girlfriend was arrested July 9 in Las Vegas on drug and weapons violations. She pleaded not guity and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 27. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said she is a witness in the Stow investigation.
