A 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Signal Hill Wednesday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
About 822 people reported having felt the earthquake on the USGS Felt Report.
The earthquake struck at around 7:15 p.m. at a depth of 2.98 miles.
Signal Hill is about 24 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
