A block in the San Fernando Valley was shut down while police deal with a man barricaded inside a home.
The incident was reported at 3:24 p.m. in Canoga Park after a 45-year-old man had not taken his medication.
The man's mother, who also lives at the loaction, has not been able to get into the residence for the past two 2 days. police said.
When police knocked at the door, the man called 911 not understanding that the armed men at his door were police.
