Man Found Shot to Death in Long Beach

Police were searching for the gunman who fatally shot a man in Long Beach late Tuesday night, police said.

The shooting was reported around 11:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Loma Vista Drive, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Police found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The victim's body was found next to a bicycle. It was unclear if the bicycle belonged to the victim.

A woman said she heard several gunshots, which she initially thought were fireworks.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

It was unclear what led up to the shooting.
