A registered sex offender charged with molesting a 14-year-old girl in Westminster was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting another 14-year-old girl while out on bail in the previous case.
J Isaac Gonzalez Sierra was charged Tuesday with a count of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years old or younger, two counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14 and a count of sexual battery, all felonies. He also faces a sentencing enhancement for committing a crime while out on custody for another alleged crime.
Sierra is accused of sexually assaulting the girl in Santa Ana, according to court records.
He was free on $20,000 bail for a prior case of allegedly molesting a friend of one his relatives, according to testimony in Sierra's preliminary hearing.
While driving the girl to a local grocery store in Westminster, he allegedly groped her and kissed her, police testified in the hearing.
In that case, Sierra is charged with a count of failing to register annually as a sex offender, a count of failing to notify law enforcement with five days of moving and four counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years old, all felonies.
Sierra has a prior conviction for sexual battery in 2012, according to court records.
