Small Plane Crashes in Antelope Valley

Four people survived a small plane crash in the Antelope Valley July 3, 2016.

A small plane carrying four people crashed in the Antelope Valley Sunday afternoon after striking a tree. 

The plane caught fire after the crash but it did not appear that any of the four on board suffered serious injuries, according the Federal Aviation Administration. 

The incident was reported near Brian Ranch Airport in Llano, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

Initial reports showed the unidentified Cessna had four people on board, FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said.

It is unknown what led to the crash. 

No further details were immediately available.
