The California Medical Board has revoked the license of an Orange County doctor after he allegedly sneaked into hospitals where he did not work and stole medical supplies to sell on eBay.
The license of Dr. Roy Chi Wing Lung was pulled effective this week.
According to medical board documents, Lung was accused of stealing sutures from a Fountain Valley hospital where he did not have medical privileges. Lung allegedly sold the sutures on eBay for $50 a box.
The documents also show Lung pleaded no contest in 2004 to burglary and theft for allegedly taking two computers from Long Beach Medical Center.
His attorney says Lung can reapply for his license in three years.
