Pursuit Driver Taken Into Custody in Orange County

A pursuit in Orange County made its way through John Wayne Airport before coming to an end with a PIT maneuver. Gil Leyvas reports for the NBC4 News at 9 on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016.

California Highway Patrol officers were pursuing a blue Honda Civic in Orange County on Sunday evening. 

The car was stolen in Santa Ana, according to CHP. 

At one point, the pursuit driver entered John  Wayne Airport and did a loop with officers trailing behind. 

The pursuit ended in Costa Mesa around 9:30 p.m. when officers performed a PIT maneuver and took the driver into custody. 

There were no injuries in the pursuit.
