Police were pursuing an SUV in the South Bay area Monday night.
Newschopper4 Bravo was overhead at the scene in the Carson area at around 10:50 p.m. when the driver passed through Vermont Ave.
Minutes after, the driver went into a cul de sac, left the vehicle and ran into a nearby patch of trees where he was later taken into custody.
The driver of the SUV was arrested by LAPD at 11:10 p.m. and was charged with failure to yield of a possible stolen vehicle.
