Driver in blacked out SUV reaches speeds over 120 mph in San Fernando Valley

A driver led police on a high-speed pursuit through the San Fernando Valley. As seen on air on Mar. 19, 2024. 

The driver of a stolen SUV led officers with the Los Angeles Police Department on a high-speed pursuit that came to an end in the San Fernando Valley.

The pursuit started in the downtown Los Angeles area and made its way through several cities in the San Fernando Valley.

The driver reached speeds over 120 mph, at time with the headlights off. A passenger was believed to have been in the car.

The chase came to an end in the Sylmar area, where the driver exited the vehicle and tried to run into a nearby business.

He walked away and tried to run from police but was quickly arrested. The second person has not been located.
