The Burbank airport's traffic control tower closed temporarily Friday afternoon after the airport said they are experiencing "temporary limited staffing."
The airport’s tower is typically serviced 24 hours a day.
The holiday weekend brings a higher number of travelers, who may have their flights affected in the next couple of hours.
