Suspect Dressed For Success in Armed Robbery

“The suspect…appeared to be dressed more for a job interview than a robbery”

Some people say that appearance is everything. In the case of an armed robbery suspect, he put on his Sunday best to hold up a business in the Mid-City area.

The robbery took place on Feb. 5 at about 7 p.m. The suspect walked into the business in the 3100 block of Pico Boulevard, took out a handgun and demanded money, police said. Once the clerk opened the register the suspect reached into the cash drawer and took the money out and ran from the store.

Investigators want you to take a close look at the surveillance images of the suspect. He was wearing a red/peach-colored shirt, a tie and a jacket.

“The armed robbery suspect…appeared to be dressed more for a job interview than a robbery,” said a police press release.  Now investigators are hoping to catch the suspect and have him trade in his fancy clothes for a prison jumpsuit.
