Southern California is set to sizzle as triple-digit heat is expected to arrive this week, forecasters said.
In Woodland Hills Tuesday, soccer players beat the 93 degree weather by drizzling themselves with water.
"We spray ourselves with like this spritzer thing," said Sarah Myers, whose coach advised the athletes to keep cool.

To some people, the San Fernando Valley heat is nothing to sweat over.
"Oh my God, I'm feeling just like winter here," Omprakash Bansal said.
Bansal said that in India it reached a 113 degrees Tuesday.
Temperatures in the West Valley area could soar to 103 degrees on Thursday, with downtown Los Angeles and coastal areas seeing 90 degree temperatures.
Forecasters blame inland heat pushing cooling coastal breezes away from the LA basin for the rise in temperatures.

A heat advisory was in effect for the mountains and valleys of Riverside and San Bernardino counties until Thursday.
Officials urge residents during advisories keep cool, check on the elderly and keep an eye on children.
The heat comes during a historic statewide drought at a time when the region is ripe for wildfires.
