A lockdown at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility was lifted Friday following an unconfirmed report of someone in the area matching the description of Christopher Dorner, the ex-LAPD officer accused of fatally shooting three people. The Men's Central Jail campus in downtown Los Angeles was put on lockdown Friday morning after an assistant spotted a man matching the description of triple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner, whose ex-wife currently works at the jail.
A custody assistant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department saw the man about 40 feet from the entrance to Men's Central Jail about 5:30 a.m. Friday.
The woman didn't think much of the sighting until she got to her computer and read an online news story about Dorner.

She alerted authorities and a lockdown was issued. At least three buildings in the Men's Central Jail complex were shut down. The lockdown was lifted about 11:40 a.m.
Dorner's ex-wife currently works as a custody sergeant at the jail campus, although she was not at the facility Friday, according to officials.
The couple married in 2007 in Las Vegas and petitioned for dissolution in Los Angeles about a month later.
Dorner, a former LAPD officer accused of carrying out an alleged revenge plot against officers and their families, remains at large.
