Two men approached two others in Santa Ana Friday night, and after a brief conversation shot both, killing one, police said Saturday.
Santa Ana police don't have a description of the two men who allegedly shot the other two outside a residence in the 800 block of N. Jackson Street., according to a Santa Ana Police Department statement.
Based on their investigation so far, detectives think the two men who were shot were standing in front of a residence when the shooters approached and spoke with them, then fired several shots.
It was unclear if they got away on foot or in a vehicle, police said.
The men were taken to UCI Hospital but one died from his injuries, according to the statement.
