One Killed, Two Injured in Wilmington Shooting

No arrests were reported in a shooting that killed one and injured two in a Wilmington neighborhood.

One person has died from the injuries suffered in a shooting in Wilmington. Two others are in the hospital with moderate injuries.

A woman was killed and two other people were hospitalized in a shooting Tuesday in a Wilmington neighborhood.

A 20-year-old man and woman, and a 45-year-old woman were hospitalized with what firefighters described as moderate injuries. The woman in her 20s later died at the hospital.

One person later died at the hospital due to their injuries. Their identity is currently unknown.

It was not immediately clear what led to the gunfire at about 2 p.m. in the 800 block of North Lagoon Ave.

No arrests were reported.

An employee at a nearby auto shop told NBCLA he heard 10 to 12 gunshots.
