Blustery, damaging winds made for a busy day and night for firefighters and Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services Monday.
A tree was toppled by heavy winds and landed on the roof of a home in the Los Feliz area, but there were no reports of injuries.
The fallen tree in the 1600 block of Talmadge Street was reported at 3:11 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The tree also brought down some electrical wires, Stewart said.
The removal of the tree will be left up to the Bureau of Street Services.
Another tree fell in the 600 block of Veteran Avenue in Westwood, just after 7 p.m., Stewart said. No injuries were reported and there was no damage to any structures.
Firefighters responded to the scene, taped it off and notified Street Services, she said.

Those trees were among several that came down during the high winds that buffeted the region Monday. Trees were also reported down in Inglewood and La Mirada, but no injuries were reported.
