A man died after being shot multiple times in South Los Angeles early Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
At approximately 1 a.m., authorities responded to a shooting near the intersection of 78th Street and Brighton Avenue. They found a man sitting in his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He died at the scene.
The vehicle was shot at from both sides, authorities said.
Police have not released the name of the victim and a detailed description of the victim and his vehicle was not immediately available.
A motive for the homicide is unknown.
