The search continues for a driver after an early morning hit-and-run killed a Ventura County man on a busy Hollywood street. Chase Cain reports for the NBC4 News at 9 on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015.
A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Hollywood early Sunday morning.
He was identified as 24-year-old Robert John Ryan of Oxnard.
The crash occurred near Hollywood Boulevard and Ivar Avenue just after 4:30 a.m., according to Officer Marshall of LAPD's West Traffic Division.
The man died at the site of the crash, and appeared to be in his 30s, Marshall said.
There was no description of the car or driver immediately available.
