Missing Torrance Woman Found in Gardena

A woman who had reportedly been missing for days was found by deputies in Gardena. Adrian Arambulo reports for NBC4 Today in LA on Friday, May 27, 2016.

A Torrance woman who had been reportedly missing for days was found in Gardena early Friday morning, authorities said.

Jillian Abe, 32, was found by Compton sheriff's deputies around 2:15 a.m. in the 14700 block of Maple Avenue, according to the Torrance Police Department.

Abe was transported to a hospital for observation, police said.

Family and friends had passed out fliers in Torrance on Thursday in hopes of finding the woman last seen Sunday night dressed in an "Alice in Wonderland" costume.

Abe worked at a costume store, suffers from anxiety and has been without her medication since Sunday, friends said.

No additional information was immediately available.
