Major Wildfires Char Southern California

The Thomas Fire has burned over 50,000 acres in Ventura County while the Creek Fire has burned more than 11,000 acres in the Angeles National Forest. A third fire, dubbed the Rye Fire, has burned more than 5,000 acres in Santa Clarita.
