New technology developed in the Silicon Valley is helping change lives.

The AlterG Bionic Leg is worn by people in rehab because of an injury or stroke, and uses technology to help patients regain mobility.

AlterG, based in Fremont, said the bionic leg rents for about a $1,000 a month.
