Lawyer Gloria Allred: ‘It's Too Early to Celebrate, Mr. Cosby'

Attorney Gloria Allred made a statement outside of the courthouse after the jury in the Cosby sexual assault case announced a mistrial. Allred said that “we can never underestimate the blinding power of celebrity” and vowed that “justice will come.” She said that she hoped prosecutors tried the case again and that the court permits more accusers as witnesses. “It’s too early to celebrate, Mr. Cosby,” she said. “Round two may just be around the corner and this time justice will prevail.”
