Baby Panda Born in Tokyo Zoo Growing Fast

The baby giant panda at Tokyo’s Ueno Zoo is healthy and growing fast. The female cub born last month now weighs just over one pound and is nine inches long. That’s double the size from three weeks ago. Officials at Ueno Zoo expect the panda to open her eyes shortly. Cubs usually open their eyes at six to eight weeks old.
