NATO: Concerned If Russia Violated INF Treaty

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday that any non-compliance on the part of Russia to adhere to the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty would be of “great concern.” Stoltenberg was speaking to reporters at a NATO defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels. Stoltenberg’s comments came after a Trump administration official said on Wednesday that Russia had deployed a cruise missile in violation of the treaty. Russia denies that it has violated the INF treaty.
