Child Rights Expert Says Big Tech is Liable for Social Media Addiction

A new California proposal would hold social media companies, like TikTok and Instagram, legally liable for using addictive techniques. The bi-partisan effort would be retro-active, meaning the companies would be at legal risk for any past damage their products caused.
