Florida Teacher Arrested For Sex With Student

A Port Orange, Florida teacher was arrested after being accused of having sex with a student. The Port Orange Police Department said that after investigating, they believe Cynthia Horvath, 45, had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student between June and September. According to the police report, the teenager said the relationship began last spring. They took long drives, stole hugs and kisses behind closed doors at the school. If she’s prosecuted and convicted, she could face up to 15 years in prison.
