A woman was detained for questioning after a man was shot in the leg in the parking lot of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park Sunday, the San Diego Police Department police said.
The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, SDPD Sgt. Kevin Gibson said.
The man was bleeding from his leg and was hospitalized, Gibson said.
Gibson said the person may have been shot accidentally but the department's Domestic Violence Unit is investigating. The woman was detained for questioning.
