Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler on Pride and LGBTQ Rights in America

Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler are grateful to be married and for their fabulous rights, but they’re concerned about LGBTQ rights outside of the United States. The couple shares their experience coming out to their family, and not to be concerned about external validation. Simon says living in New York City, he’s much more worried about homeless people than gay people. Jonathan reflects on the incredible progress that’s been made during his lifetime and says pride is a reminder of how great we have it in America. Jonathan says he doesn’t know why he was so worried to come out, and it was “the best thing he ever did.”
