Student With Down Syndrome Crowned Homecoming King

A Walnut Creek high school senior with Down syndrome was crowned homecoming king Friday. Gus Xepoleas, who was featured by NBC Bay Area’s Garvin Thomas in January, used to be shy–but with the support of his classmates, his family says he’s come out of his shell.
