Police Investigate Suspicious Package in Hollywood Near Entrance of Metro Station

A suspicious package in Hollywood closed the Red line of the Metro Station late Wednesday. Eliana Moreno reports for the NBC4 News at 11 on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017.

Police cleared the Metro Red Line's Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street station on Wednesday after they determined that a suspicious package was not dangerous.

Authorities were sweeping the area near the entrance of the Metro station and cleared the scene by 11:30 p.m. The station was closed while police conduct their investigation.

The Los Angeles Fire Department assisted the Los Angeles Police Department in the investigation.
