Police today sought the public's help in locating a 19-year-old man with a diminished mental capacity who went missing in South Los Angeles earlier this month.
Roy Catching Jr., who has the mental capacity of a 7-year-old, was last seen on Oct. 14 in the 6500 block of Fourth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Catching is black, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. No clothing description was available.
Anyone with information regarding the young man's whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800 to speak with Officer Carson.
During non-business hours, calls should be directed to 877-LAPD-24-7. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 800-222-TIPS.
