It is now the leading cause of death for Americans 18-45 years of age, fentanyl poisoning. It is 50 times stronger than heroin, it is highly addictive and more deadly. NBC4’s Conan Nolan talks with two sides of the issue. First up, the Chair of the Assembly Public Safety Committee Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D) Los Angeles. He explains why his committee killed several bills that would have toughed the penalties for those guilty of fentanyl trafficking.
