A 21-year-old probationer who's had more than a dozen criminal cases filed against him this year alone is behind bars on charges of exposing himself to an 12-year-old girl in a bathroom in a Tustin park.
Pedro Frias of Tustin was charged Friday with child annoyance, false imprisonment, lewd conduct in a public place and attempted indecent exposure.
He pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges and was ordered to return to court Thursday for a pretrial hearing.
After his latest arrest last Tuesday, Frias' probation officer said he should be found in violation of probation, according to court records.
Frias allegedly entered the women's restroom at Columbus Tustin Park, blocked the girl's way out of a stall and exposed himself to her, according to the probation violation petition.
The girl screamed, pushed him away five times and ran to her father, according to the petition. Frias was arrested shortly afterward, hiding behind a vehicle, police said.
Frias allegedly told police he "just wanted to make out with a girl," according to the probation violation petition.

Frias has had 13 cases, nearly all involving misdemeanors, filed against him this year, "ranging from sex crimes, resisting arrest and trespassing," according to his probation officer.
Just a few days before the alleged incident in the park bathroom, he was arrested for trespassing and being under the influence of a controlled substance as well as failing to report to his probation officer, according to court records.
