New Report Examines Tax Money Impact on LA's Homeless

The city of Los Angeles spends millions of dollars on the homeless, but where is the money going? Joel Grover reports on NBC4 News at 11 p.m on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019. Editor’s note: Data for this story was taken from the Los Angeles City Controller’s report. The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority responded Wednesday to say the controller’s report is misleading. Out of the 6,634 homeless people LAHSA contacted, 167 were linked to permanent housing.
