No injuries were reported after the roof of a building under construction collapsed Friday morning. The unfinished two-story parking garage has been under construction for around two years.
No injuries were reported when the second story of an under-construction MTA parking garage partially collapsed Friday morning in downtown Los Angeles.
Around 20 Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded at 9 a.m. to the 800 block of Keller Street where the 50-foot by 75-foot two story parking garage stood.
Concrete was poured in the upper level just before it came crashing down to the site where 150 people were.
The weight of the concrete may have led to the partial collapse, according to a metro spokesperson.
The site, which had been under construction for two years, was completely shut down as of Friday afternoon.
Everyone who was on site was accounted for and there were no injuries were reported, officials said.
