Two Hospitalized When Scaffolding Collapses at Six-Story Hollywood Building

High winds tore a scaffolding off a building under construction. It came crashing down on a homeless man sleeping below it. Annette Arreola reports for Today in LA on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Two people were hospitalized Wednesday after metal and wood scaffolding around a building under construction in Hollywood collapsed.

The incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the 6700 block of Selma Avenue near Las Palmas Avenue.

Two adults suffered minor injuries. A third person was treated at the scene.

The injured homeless individuals were sleeping outside the building. 

The cause of the collapse was under investigation.
