Car Shooting Being Investigated as Possible Road Rage

An investigation was underway Wednesday after a man’s car was shot at on the 15 Freeway Tuesday night. Annette Arreola reports live for Today in LA on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

California Highway Patrol was investigating a possible road rage incident Wednesday after someone shot at a man's vehicle as he drove on the I-15 in Fontana.

At around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night, a driver was traveling northbound on the I-15 south of the 210 Freeway before Summitt Avenue when bullets hit his vehicle, according to CHP.

The man pulled into a strip mall parking lot at Summitt and Beech avenues and called 911. 

The driver is expected to be OK.

The suspect description is vague and the vehicle was only described as a light-colored truck. 

The motive was under investigation.
