Man Battles House Fire With Hose in Historic South-Central

A two story home in the Historic South-Central area of Los Angeles was sending thick smoke into the sky, as a man attempted to battle the blaze with a water hose before firefighters arrived Thursday.

The fire broke out in the 4100 block of Wall Street just after 10 a.m.

Firefighters were seen battling the blaze on the roof of the large home as smoke and flames shot through crevices in the structure. 

By 10:30 a.m., firefighters had knocked down the fire. No one was injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
