More Injuries as Another Car Crashes Into Same Starbucks Location In Less Than 3 Weeks

Neighbors are saying a Valley Glen intersection is unsafe after a car plowed into a nearby Starbucks twice in three weeks. Kim Baldonado reports for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2017.

For the second time in less than three weeks, a vehicle careened into a Valley Glen Starbucks, this time leaving three people hospitalized.

"I thought, 'Oh my God, another one,'" said Jamie Hausfeld, who works nearby the business at the corner of Victory Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

Surveillance video from a business across the street captured the Sunday night crash, which sent a car barreling into the coffee shop's outdoor patio. Three people were taken to the hospital.

It was just two and a half weeks ago when security cameras captured another crash that sent a car into the same Starbucks. That crash happened during lunch time and seven people were injured, three with broken bones.
