Three Men Sought After Fatal Shooting in Venice

Police were searching for three men after a man was shot and killed in Venice Thursday night, authorities said.

The shooting was reported around 8:15 p.m. near Seventh and Flower Streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police found the victim, a 45-year-old man, suffering from gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LAPD.

Witnesses said they saw a man exit an SUV and shoot the man before getting back inside the vehicle, which drove away from the scene east on Flower Street.

Police said they were looking for a tan colored SUV possibly connected to the shooting.

Investigators said they were trying to determine if the shooting was targeted.
