Two Found Dead in Chatsworth Home

A husband and wife were found dead in their bedroom with a gun and no evidence of forced entry. Gordon Tokumatsu reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017.

Two people were found dead Monday morning in a residence in the Chatsworth area, police said.

Officers sent to the 10400 block of Canoga Avenue about 7 a.m. found a male and female dead at the scene, said Los Angeles police Officer Tony Im. Neighbors said the home is occupied by a 73-year-old husband and his 66-year-old wife. 

The couple was found in a bedroom, along with a gun, said Detective Dave Peteque of the Los Angeles Police Department homicide unit.
