Police were on the hunt for two men after they broke into a woman’s home in Riverside and sexually assaulted her before running with some of her property. Robert Kovacik reports for the NBC4 News at 11 on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

Police sought the public's help on Wednesday to identify two men who broke into a home and sexually assaulted the homeowner.

The men broke into a home at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Canyon Crest neighborhood southwest of the Canyon Crest Country Club golf course.

They sexually assaulted the female homeowner, then fled with property, officials said.

Officers searched the area extensively but could not locate the suspects.

The men took off in a black or dark-colored four-door mid 1990s Honda Accord with tinted windows and possible damage to the driver's-side door. A partial California license plate of 6XG was seen on this vehicle.
