When Disaster Strikes, LA County Alert System Calls, Texts, Emails

Introducing an emergency alert system designed for a county of 10 million people. The free Los Angeles County system, accessed via alert.lacounty.gov, can alert residents to wildfires, earthquakes, bomb threats and other emergencies via text messages, emails and phone calls.
