Super Scoopers Help Battle Wind-Driven Brush Fire in Moorpark

The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent two Super Scoopers and a firefighting helicopter to assist in battling a 50-acre brush fire near the 118 Freeway and Princeton Avenue in Moorpark, fire officials said Saturday.

The air support was immediately sent to the blaze, which the Ventura County Fire Department says is threatening structures in the area, according to LACFD Dispatch Supervisor Cheryl Sims.
